Parental reorganisation after divorce

After a divorce, parenthood continues. But it will need to be drastically reorganized. Parental reorganization is an ungoing process that is often far from easy. In most cases, parents are confronted with many practical and emotional challenges.

  • What if I’m really worried about how late the children go to bed when they are at this house?
  • Why is my son always so unruly when he comes back from my ex?
  • My daughter says that his new girlfriend always talks negatively about me.

Saskia Everts has been helping divorced couples with these issues for over 15 years.  It works best if parents manage to communicate directly with each other, whether or not with help of the therapist.  However, parents who do not want to have joint sessions are also welcome at Family therapy De Korenwolf. The aim is still the same: to put the needs of the children up front, and to reorganize the parenting in a way that works for everyone.
